MetLife

MetLife, a leading global provider of insurance, annuities and employee benefits programs is once again serving as the official financial services

partner of the 2012 P.F. Chang’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Arizona Marathon & ½ Marathon. MetLife has a long history of community involvement and social responsibility and support of this event is a great fit for the company.

In conjunction with the event, MetLife is continuing its partnership with a local Arizona charity, TeamCasey – a non-profit dedicated to the legacy of the late Casey Axford, who succumbed to complications of Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia at the age of 21. Over the past seven years, TeamCasey has raised nearly $200,000 to benefit pediatric patients and their families by supporting local Arizona children’s hospitals. This is the eighth year TeamCasey will participate in the marathon.

The MetLife Foundation was created in 1976 by MetLife to continue its longstanding tradition of contributions and community involvement. This year, the Foundation made donations totaling $15,000 to three Arizona children’s hospitals; Phoenix Children’s Hospital in Phoenix; Diamond Children’s Medical Center at UMC in Tucson; and Banner Health Cardon Children’s Medical Center in Mesa.
