Solutia to Become Title Sponsor of Inaugural Rock ‘n’ Roll St. Louis
ST. LOUIS, January 24, 2011 — Solutia Inc. (NYSE: SOA) today announced its title sponsorship of the inaugural Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon & ½ Marathon in St. Louis to benefit Team Activities for Special Kids (TASK). The Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon series, managed by San Diego-based Competitor Group, Inc., is famous for its live bands, cheerleaders and block party atmosphere.

More than 15,000 runners are expected to participate in St. Louis’ inaugural Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon & ½ Marathon on October 23, 2011. A free two-day expo will be held Friday and Saturday, and the event weekend will conclude with a post-race concert at the finish line. Past acts at Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathons in other cities have included SEAL, INXS, Journey, B-52s, Goo Goo Dolls and Bret Michaels.
