Run in Feet. Dream in Miles. That’s the Los Angeles Running Club’s motto.
LARC began when athletes finished the LA Marathon and wanted to continue to run with friends in a fun, open atmosphere, including all levels of speed, experience and distance. A look around will show a very diverse membership fitting Southern California, ranging from teenagers to Boston Marathoners to those enjoying a healthy retirement. Many runs go along the beautiful Pacific coast.
Speed and PRs are not the primary focus; enjoying running with other runners is, be it at sub-5 minutes or 20 minutes a mile. There are many options for runners from Wednesday night track workouts to Saturday and Sunday long runs from the Santa Monica Totem Pole.
