Whether you are a couch potato or you want to qualify for the Boston Marathon, Portland Fit’s color-coded group training program will match you up with similar-paced members as it delivers informative seminars, discounted gear, and fitness camaraderie as you pursue your fitness goals.

Portland Fit members may also continue training with the group all summer as they target other half marathons, Hood to Coast, or even the Portland Marathon. Use discount code RNR13 to save $10 when you sign up.  Learn more!

Foot Traffic opened over 11 years ago, we set out to be more than Oregon’s premiere running & walking shoe stores. Our store was founded on the principle that a small business has a far more salient purpose than simply selling great running shoes, apparel & accessories. Our commitment is to the betterment of our fellow runners and walkers and the community they live in.

We strive each day to find ways to improve & enrich the city & state we live in via healthy, fun, and active lifestyles. Whether it’s coaching and organizing youth track and cross country events; donating over a quarter million dollars to non-profits, fire departments, schools, community groups, and more; or simply donating gift products to the local grade school auction, we aim to make the community we’re in that much better.

Group Runs:

Foot Traffic offers free, fun, group run/walks 6 days a week! The best way for us to get to know all of you a bit better. THAT’S what a community is all about: Goin’ for a run with your neighbor! Remember, our group runs/walks are for EVERYONE. Walk a 17 min. mile? No problemo! Run at 11 min. pace? Love to have ya! If you’re interested, call any of our four great stores, email DAN@FOOTTRAFFIC.US, or visit our website for more details!

The Portland Galloway Training Program uses the time tested walk/run/walk method championed by Olympian Jeff Galloway.  This method involves specific ratios of walking to running customized to your pace and fitness level.  This enables individuals of all experience and fitness levels to comfortably train without injury.

The Portland Galloway Training Group is non-competitive and is all about helping each other achieve goals – from just getting out there to completing a Marathon!

January 26th is the kickoff for the Rock n Roll Half Marathon Training Program!!  This is a 17 week program for the May 19th Rock n Roll Half marathon in Portland.  The group will be meeting at 9 am at the NE Foot Traffic for a kickoff 3 mile run.
