Alan Culpepper – Event Director, U.S. Olympian

Culpepper began his career at the University of Colorado-Boulder and has since proven to be one of the most consistent and versatile distance runners in American history. Alan is a multiple time sub-four minute miler, with a personal best of 3:55 and is accomplished in distances ranging from 5k to the Marathon. In 2002 Alan ran his debut marathon in a time of 2:09:41, which at that time was the American Debut Record. In only his second marathon Alan won the 2004 Olympic Marathon Trials and later that year went on to finish an impressive 12th place in the marathon at the Athens Olympic Games. He still holds the state record for fastest half marathon with a time of 1:04:52 in the 2006 Denver Marathon.

 

Patrick Bodnar, DC  Director of Clinics

Dr. Patrick Bodnar is a chiropractor and educator with a special interest in advanced functional assessment protocols, innovative rehab techniques, and performance-related clinical exercise. He has refined his clinical focus to care for patients with headaches, neck and back pain, balance and mobility deficiencies, sports specific injuries, and certain neurological deficits as well as those interested in proactive care such athletic performance, biomechanical support for pregnancy, functional fitness, and general wellbeing.

In 2005, he was invited to join Parker University College of Chiropractic and in 2011 was appointed as the director of clinics.

Dr. Bodnar continues to lecture on a variety of topics and has presented seminar-based and continuing education material throughout the United States and in Canada.

Dr. Bodnar has received many awards and honors from Parker University’s student body, a commendation from the Council on Chiropractic Education Commission of Accreditation for his work in treatment plan documentation, and in 2009 he received Chiropractor of the Year award from Parker Seminars/Parker University, and Alumni of the Year from the Parker Alumni Association.
