Don’t Miss the Rock ‘n’ Roll Seattle Group Running Tour!
The birthplace of Jimi Hendrix. The birthplace of grunge music. Macklemore’s hometown. Seattle rocks! We can all agree on that, right?
Get a firsthand look at just how much it rocks on the first ever Rock ‘n’ Roll Seattle Group Running Tour. We’ll hit the streets of Seattle for some musical show and tell, taking you by well-known landmarks like the Experience Music Project, and some “off the beaten path” sites like The Crocodile, where bands like Nirvana, Pearl Jam and Death Cab for Cutie got their start.
The 4.5 mile running tour will be run at a casual pace led by the guides of City Running Tours. The tour is designed to help runners get in the groove for the upcoming Rock ‘n’ Roll Seattle Marathon & ½ Marathon, with each runner receiving Rock ‘n’ Roll Seattle giveaways after the tour and the chance to register onsite for the marathon, which takes place on June 22.
The running tour will start and end at Sound Sports. The cost includes a bottle of water as well as light post-race snacks and refreshments.
And because this run takes place the day before Mother’s Day, we’re offering a special discount for all the moms out there. Mom’s who sign up for the run with another member of their family get 10% off their registration. Use the code MOMSROCK when registering.
