He managed a running store in Westboro, MA, and freelanced for a number of publications, including Competitor, Triathlete and Running Times, amongst others which led him to his current role at CGI. As Senior Editor of Competitor Magazine and Author of The Official Rock ‘n’ Roll Guide To Marathon & Half-Marathon Training, Mario enjoys sharing his passion for the sport, coaching athletes and providing essential tips and tricks to runners regardless of their background.

Favorite Part of His Job:
“I never feel like I’m working! I am living the dream every day.”

In his spare time…
Mario enjoys spending time with his wife, coaching athletes and reading anything that he can get his hands on.

Random Fact:
“I am red-green colorblind, I don’t have a middle name and I lived in Oregon for 2 months after college and tried to “make it” as a pro runner.”

Whether you’re running your first Rock ‘n’ Roll Race, or your 20th, Mario Fraioli will help you prepare for your next event. Watch why it matters.
