Official Statement Regarding the Boston Marathon Tragedy

“We were shocked and saddened to learn of the tragedy in Boston today. Our hearts and thoughts are with the victims, their families and all those affected. Out of respect to the Boston Marathon and the Boston Athletic Association, we will not be providing any additional comments at this time other than to say that we are working closely with our partners, both government agencies and law enforcement, to immediately review security protocol and safety procedures in light of the tragic events of the day. We will provide more details in the coming days as we engage in this critical dialogue with respective officials in each of our partner cities across the country.”

Neely, Foster win 10th annual P.F. Chang’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Arizona Marathon

It was a birthday celebration unlike any other as the P.F. Chang’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Arizona Marathon & ½ Marathon celebrated 10 years running in the Valley of the Sun. In the men’s marathon, 23-year-old Ryan Neely from Berkeley, California took the lead for the first time at mile 23 to win his second marathon in unorthodox fashion, crossing the finish line in 2 hours, 31 minutes and 7 seconds.

P.F. Chang’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Celebrates 10 Years Running; Adds Bike Tour, Mini Marathon

The Bike Tour will take place prior to the marathon and half marathon on Sunday, January 20, 2013. Cyclists are invited to tour the full marathon course, riding closed streets through Phoenix, Scottsdale and Tempe. Bike Tour participants will enjoy the full Rock ‘n’ Roll experience, with on-course entertainment, finishers medals, t-shirts and the rocking post-race concert at Sun Devil Stadium.

Runners to Tackle Chronic Disease as MS Rockstars at P.F. Chang’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Arizona

As the benefiting charity of the P.F. Chang’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Arizona Marathon & ½ Marathon, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society will be represented by a team of MS Rockstars who will raise money to create a world free of MS. Each team member will raise a minimum of $1,750; benefits of participating on the MS Rockstar team include a personalized 12-week training program and VIP treatment on race day. The money they raise directly supports research for a cure and local programs that support those living with MS.
