Celebrate your 13.1 or 26.2 mile accomplishment and rock out to Adelitas Way at the Finish Line Festival!
Adelitas Way is a hard rock band from Las Vegas, Nevada that broke into mainstream in 2009 for their song “Invincible” which became the official theme song for WWE Superstars and used on the ‘CSI: Miami” finale. The last two years have been nothing short of amazing for Adelitas Way—playing at the 2010 Jets/Patriots game and touring arenas with bands including Shinedown, Guns N’ Roses, Creed, Chevelle, Papa Roach, Godsmack,Theory of a Deadman, Seether, Three Days Grace, Breaking Benjamin, Puddle of Mudd and Staind. Lead vocalist Rick DeJesus is joined by Keith Wallen (guitar), Derek Johnston (bass) and Trevor Staffor (drums) to bring songs like memorably intense rockers “Sick,” and “The Collapse,” rife with heavy, edgy, melodic musicality, creating modern hard rock at once both eloquent and primal.

Music makes up the heart and “sole” of this event. Live bands will be performing a variety of music from alternative, classic and punk rock to blues, jazz and soul along each mile of the race course. The bands set the tempo for this marathon party, where runners and spectators alike will be “dancin’ in the streets” to these mini-concerts.
Local high school, middle school, cheer clubs, and dance teams cheer on thousands of runners as they rock their way through Savannah. Cash prizes awards to the top three school, and every school is guaranteed a minimum donation just for participating.
Congratulations to the 2012 Spirit on the Course winners and thank you to all participating cheer teams!
