Volunteer Program Overview

Help support your community, as well as thousands of runners and the walkers by volunteering! With almost 1,800 positions available there is a spot for everyone, including teams, corporate groups, or just friends and family. Race Crew volunteers assist with nearly every aspect of the event, including the Health & Fitness Expo, Start Line, Finish Line, and the Water Stations along the course. Simply click either of the blue “Race Crew” buttons below to sign up online.


Shift Information

= Crucial Shifts: These shifts are difficult to fill! If you are able to attend any shift on this particular day, we encourage you to do so.

October 16, 17, 18 – Health & Fitness Expo

  • Location: America’s Center Convention Complex (701 Convention Plaza St. Louis, MO 63101)
  • Thursday October 16 – 1:00pm – 4:00pm
  •  Friday, October 17 – 12:00pm – 3:30pm  |  2:30pm – 6:00pm (‘all day’ available)
  • Saturday, October 18 – 9:00am to 2:00pm | 1:00pm to 6:00pm (‘all day’ available)
Sunday, October 19 - Marathon & 1/2 Marathon Start / Finish Line

  • Location: 15th St between Pine and Chestnut St Louis, MO 63103
  • Shifts: 4:30am to 8:00am | 5:30am to 10:30pm  |  9:30am to 2:30pm

  Saturday, October 18 – 5K

  • Shifts: 6:15am to 10:00am
  • Location: Kaufman Park, Downtown St. Louis

Sunday, October 19 -  Split Points & Relay Transition Zone

  • Shifts: Varied
  • Location: Varied along course
 Sunday, October 19 – Water Stations

  • Shifts: Varied
  • Location: Varied along course

The Medical Team is dedicated to providing rapid assessment and administering acute first aid services to event participants. The team is made up of volunteers from many medical institutions within the local community.
