Race Crew volunteers assist with nearly every aspect of the event, including the Health & Fitness Expo, Start Line, Finish Line, and the Water Stations along the course. Simply click either of the blue “Race Crew” buttons below to sign up online.

= Crucial Shifts: These shifts are difficult to fill! If you are able to attend any shift on this particular day, we encourage you to do so.

August 29, 30, 31 – Health and Fitness Expo

Location: Virginia Beach Convention Center
Thursday, August 29 – 1:00pm to 4:00pm
Friday, August 30 – 11:00am to 3:30pm | 2:30pm to 7:00pm (“all day” available)
Saturday, August 31 – 8:00am to 1:30pm | 12:30pm to 6:00pm (“all day” available)

Sunday, September 1 – Start Line

Location: Virginia Beach Convention Center parking lot
Shift: 5:00am – 9:00am

Sunday, September 1 – Finish Line

Location: 13th Street & Atlantic Avenue
Shift: 6:00am – 1:00pm

Sunday, September 1 – Water Stations

Times: Varied
Location: Varied along course

The Medical Team is dedicated to providing rapid assessment and administering acute first aid services to event participants. The team is made up of volunteers from many medical institutions within the local community. Be a part of this vital group of volunteers!
